I am not sure why this has taken me this long to write but I think it might have to do with the fact that I have been on such a high from the event that I am finally coming back to reality.
I just wanted to send you an email to say THANK U. Like I said, I have been in this sport for 18 years and have achieved some pretty cool things which i thought couldn't be topped. I have raced professionally, been to Kona, won some races but NOTHING can compare to the 3 days I had during the 520k. It allowed me to go back to the reason I started doing triathlons many years ago. The weekend wasn't about if I was going to win or how fast I was going to go, but if I was going to finish.
The atmosphere that was created is like no other and your speech during day 1, like I mentioned, really hit home for me. I feel like this is just the beginning for me in this ultra world and I am excited! I truly believe I found a new tri "family" and that is thanks to you.I wish I could come back next year but I signed up for Ironman Lake Placid before I left not knowing how much I would fall in love with the race and it is the weekend before.
Basically what I am trying to say is THANK YOU!!!!! Being part of the 520K Canada has been amazing and renewed my love for the sport:)

To Steve, Alexis and the entire Ultra Canada organization.
Back to Florida, we wanted to thank you for your kindness, this amazing experience and the insane playground you have built for us for those three days.
The breathtaking landscapes you put on our path, the challenges we faced, the friends we made will stay on our hearts and souls for the rest of our lives.
Your constant attention to details and the wellbeing of everyone made of this race the most stress free ever !
From the cookies and coffee at the start, the perfect making of the course and the ice bath at the finish line, everything possible was made by the entire organization to create a worry free environment that allowed the teams to perform at their very best.
How many time in a triathlete's carrier does a referee comes to her/him during the bike not to give her/him a warning but just to ask how she/he is doing ? Only at Ultra Canada.
It will take a great deal of time for all of us to get down from our BC cloud and we would probably never will or want to.
We hope our path will cross again in the future and do not be surprise if you see us again at the starting line of your beautiful race oneday !
All the best to all of you.
